last day

today is our last day in nice...we had a big lunch with the whole group of girls and gerard and i, and then we did a little last minute shopping and walking around. i'm in the computer lab at the french school the kids have been going to (free internet! american keyboard!), and i'm going home in a couple minutes to pack and try to fit everything back into my suitcase. i've had such a good time here, but it will be great to be back home, as well. while we ate our last wonderful lunch together (i had cheese raviolis with tomato-basil sauce and a limonade), all the girls were talking about the first thing they were going to eat when they got home. so i think we're all excited to get back to familiar surroundings.
