home!

after a 9 hour flight from nice to JFK airport in new york, a long trip through customs in new york, and a 2 hour flight back to atlanta, i'm home! i went out to dinner with a couple friends who came to pick me up at the airport (so nice of them), and i kept my eyes open long enough to tell a couple stories and eat some food. i'm back at my apartment now and about to plop into bed. i think i have enough energy to find my toothbrush and brush my teeth, but that's about it. the 6 hour time difference means that it feels like 5am tomorrow morning right now. i don't even want to think about that. great to be home, where everyone speaks english! ordering dinner tonight was shockingly easy, as everything on the menu was readable!
